This extension of the Mt. Wilson Observatory strives for comfortable living, working, and public spaces - achieved through the stacked-box approach, generous openings, and emphasis on wood materials. Residents occupy an iconic tower that provides unfettered access to nature, fantastic daylight, and the feeling of home.
The tower creates a new landmark on Mt. Wilson. Exterior circulation and balconies allow users to be close to nature.
In the ground floor public area, visitors can enjoy the architecture, the view toward Mt. Baldy, and the greenery.
